Evelyn G. (Hartley) Stevenson, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest B. Stevenson. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Waterson) Hartley. Evelyn lived in the Fairlawn section of Pawtucket her entire life.

Evelyn leaves two daughters, Barbara Stevenson (Dan Bracewell) of Lincoln, and Jacqueline Stevenson (the late Thomas Olbrych) of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert Hartley, Mae Donaldson, Marion Wolfenden, Margaret Cotton and David Hartley.

Evelyn was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School, and worked at Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Company and Providence Metallizing. Evelyn was a devoted member of St. Luke's Church in Pawtucket and served on the Altar Guild for many years.

Visitation is respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends will be invited to attend a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Luke's Church, 670 Weeden St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.
